cumlord spoofing makes sense, so far so good
dr|z3d *thumbs up*
waffles someone asked me on xmpp if im the same waffles from i2p
T3s|4 dr|z3d: nice work on the /logs bump
dr|z3d thanks, T3s|4, glad you approve :)
uop23ip dr|z3d, dev+. Is it normal that the last two times i updated, i always do a reseed. Can't remember this happened before(but didn't look for it). Router should have enough info as it isn't a fresh install.
dr|z3d not normal, but if you experienced an outage, sometimes that can happen.
cumlord gotten that several times lately too, ended up having it use a proxy to an http tunnel with no outproxy so it fails
cumlord ig i could probably just setup an internal reseed, i've been reseeding manually with my own when it does that
dr|z3d copying valid routerinfos to ~/i2p/.netDb also works.
zzz there's some adv. config to disable reseed
zzz router.reseedDisable=true
zzz also undocumented, create a file ~/.i2pnoreseed
cumlord do i need to pre sort to the directories?
cumlord well that's handy, much better
waffles ooh im declining requests: bandwidth limit
zzz no cumlord just dump them in netDb/ top level, it will see them and move them
cumlord oh good it gave me worry
zzz that's kinda what the reseed task does anyway
dr|z3d yeah, you don't want to configure noreseed, if you're reseeding, it means you've ran out of routerinfos.
cumlord makes sense. does the reseed task require an su3, or can i use a zip like manual reseed?
dr|z3d it wants an su3, unless you're extracting to .netDb, in which case just extract the routerinfos.
zzz there's a unsigned zip option on /configreseed for "friend-to-friend" reseeding
dr|z3d ah, yeah, true, you can manually reseed from file there.
cumlord basically if it wants to reseed i'd rather it just use my own from other routers when it needs it than bothering reseed servers
dr|z3d wouldn't worry about bothering reseed servers, they can take the load just fine.
cumlord just download from somewhere and unzip probably easiest thing though, i can do that
uop23ip "it means you've ran out of routerinfos" is there number to look for this event? Known? How high is probability for that when router 24/7 online and just restart? Looking at my events it did a reseed after more than an hour after restart
cumlord maybe i'm just being paranoid, seems noisier than i'd like so i've always reseeded manually
cumlord i think it's number of ff, doesn't like it if <100
uop23ip Will look for that. hopefully it does stay above that. otherwise i will have to think about why it is so low while everything is running fine with no log errors indicating anything bad :)
wew mine floodfill was reseeded midday
wew idk why maybe was connection outage or something
wew were not home
