the snark download limiter prevents snark downloads from hosing all your router bandwidth.

btw i tried to edit the down bandwidth but it seems to be locked at a value, i hit save but that does nothing. the only way to change it seems to be to open the i2psnark.config.d/i2psnark.config and change the value of "i2psnark.downbw.max" then restart snark from this page 127.0.0.1:7657/configwebapps :)

you may see less than you assign, there's also an upper limit of 60% of available router bandwidth, something like that.

memory usage alone is a win re identicons. rendering speed more or less the same?

re appearance, yeah, not much doing there in a straight 1-1 conversion, though you could introduce rounded corners for some of the primitives, and maybe a clip-path to round off the image at the corners. gradients another possible.

upload setting works fine for me, its the "Down bandwidth limit" that doesn't save for me. yes i change the value and hit save and the page refreshes and the old value will persist.
