zzz known issue, reported by you many times already
anonymousmaybe yeah was writing this below the log post but i got disconnected
anonymousmaybe just saying still happening..
zzz indeed
eyedeekay The apt-key part of the postinst script shouldn't be necessary anymore except *maybe* on buster and bionic, but since the new instructions specify where the key is installed in the `sources.list` file any derivative of Debian that supports specifying it in `sources.list` should no longer require apt-key or trusted.gpg or trusted.gpg.d anymore
eyedeekay anonymousmaybe if you agree to test older Debians and Ubuntus to help confirm this maybe we can make some more progress
zzz it's mostly a testing exercise, the changes are straightforward
eyedeekay Exactly, we just need to know it works everywhere we expect it to
zzz it's just way down the list, a deprecation warning and repeated requests is not enough to bump it up. it doesn't really matter
zzz everybody thinks fixes are free
eyedeekay At the very least, with somebody testing the distros and talking to us I could make the debian page on the website 50% shorter
