OK a bunch of people who are waiting on emails from me are finally getting them today, sorry about the holdup. Re: git and long delays the only thing that changed in the meantime was the actual git package itself, nothing else.
orignal
are there any plans for reseeds over quic?
eyedeekay
No plans to do so, it would be easy though, just plugging in another kind of listener. Is there any interesting reason to actually do it?
eyedeekay
"Easy" isn't really compelling as a reason, there would have to be some kind of benefit
orignal
like for example yggdrasil has this option
orignal
the benefit is ofc of those where TCP is blocked and UDP is not
eyedeekay
Fair enough. As far as the server side in reseed-tools it's a pretty short, pretty unobtrusive change to implement. There are no blockers there. Routers would have to implement the client-side of course, which would require their buy-in. If i2pd is interested I'll do the server-side without enabling it by default
