I have a question about P cap
orignal
is it 2000 Kbs or 2048 Kbs?
RN
Last time I looked P and Q were not specified... that has probbaly changed
RN
* O: over 128KBps shared bandwidth
RN
from some old post...
RN
O followed by R and U
orignal
it's 2000 in the specs
orignal
I'm wondering if it's mistake if not why
zzz
ping eyedeekay re: susidns MR, should be the last one, if you can approve it I'll be out of your hair
eyedeekay
I'm not quite sure I understand what 233 changes about 230 in practice, I see it checking/managing a bubble count and using the sort-by-date to get recent hosts, but I am worried that I don't see what it's doing with those features. If it it is about managing what shows up in the notifications and when then I think I get it enough to ACK
zzz
allow me to explain ))
zzz
the original 'bubbles' MR did not add display support to susidns
zzz
the first susidns MR added support for sort-by-latest, but did not add the bubbles because it was independent of the bubbles MR
zzz
now that the bubbles MR and the sort-by-latest MR are in, we have the second susidns MR that depends on both of the previous MRs
zzz
to add the bubbles on the 'router' tab and the 'latest' tab in susidns
zzz
EOT
zzz
does that answer your question? if not, keep asking...
eyedeekay
Yeah that fits is all together for me
eyedeekay
Ok go for it
eyedeekay
Acked
zzz
thank you
zzz
bumping to -5, probably the last before -rc
orignal
so, guys what with P limit?
zzz
whats your question?
orignal
2000 or 2048?
orignal
it's 2000 in specs but it doesn't sound right
orignal
yes, but why?
orignal
doesn't make sanse
orignal
*sense
zzz
don't remember, but you were involved in the decision
orignal
no I didn't about values
orignal
see, 2048 is a sigle bit unlike 2000
orignal
maybe we should correct it?
orignal
basically guys started complaining that when they set bandwidth=2048 it publishes as X
orignal
it my opinion 2000 is just typo
zzz
its 2000 in our code.
zzz
if you want to do 2048 instead, that's fine, won't hurt anything
orignal
I suspect someone said 2K and someone else understaood it as 2000
orignal
not a 2048
orignal
fine I will use 2048
zzz
you can check your notes or IRC logs, we would have discussed it around April 2015, I added it to our code 2015-05-03
orignal
I doubt that I was involved
zzz
pretty sure you were but can't prove it ))
